COVID19 UPDATE AND POLICIES
"The permanent makeup industry is one of the best-prepared industries for the safe re-opening and return to work. We already know and understand appropriate cleaning and disinfection practices to ensure our clients’ safety while performing procedures. With that in mind, we must continue to implement our regular cleaning protocols, along with introducing new procedures based on recommendations by our governments and regulatory bodies, to ensure the containment and eradication of COVID-19, and to keep ourselves and our clients safe. I am following the recommendations by the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, The Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals, the Alliance of Professional Tattooists, the Body Art Education Alliance, Perma Blend, and the Association of Professional Piercers."
WHAT IS GOING TO CHANGE?
client intake forms: all forms will be digital and will need to be filled out prior to your appointment.
aftercare: instructions will be given to you digitally before your appointment.
payments: a cashless system is preferred. I will charge the credit card you leave on file after your appointment.
You will no longer be able to bring anyone with you to your appointment. If you need someone to drive you then they must wait in the car.
cancellation policy: until further notice I will not charge any fees associated with cancelling. If you are sick I want you to stay home. If you arrive showing any slight symptom of illness, even if its allergies, you will be asked to reschedule.
PPE: all clients will have to wear a mask during the whole session. no exceptions. I ask that you bring your own mask, but I will provide one to you if you don't have one.
before your appointment
Please fill out and sign all paperwork and send it to me before you arrive for your appointment.
Please reschedule your appointment for any of the following reasons:
You have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID19
You have traveled to a “hot spot” area within 14 days of your appointment
If you or anyone in your house has a fever, has tested positive, or have come in contact with someone who tests positive for COVID19
If you think you are getting sick
Please eat and drink before your appointment. No food or drink will be permitted in the studio.
You will be required to wear it for the entire appointment. Face masks are hot, dress accordingly. My studio may be on the cooler side because of the PPE, so take that into consideration too.
If the door is locked when you arrive that means I am either still with a client OR disinfecting the space for your appointment. You can sit in your car and I will text you when I am ready for you to come in. I will try my absolute hardest to stay on schedule but your patience is greatly appreciated.
DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT
Customers should wash and or/sanitize their hands before and after handling any papers, documents, pens, surfaces, keyboards, or devices.
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
Aftercare instructions will be sent digitally, and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
it is also critical for you to inform me if you exhibit any signs of COVID-19 after the procedure.
if I have been exposed to a client who soon-after develops symptoms, I will follow local mandates which will likely include cancelling all clients for the next 14 days.
